Why is everything free right now?
Keylight is in early access. Sixteen modules are live today — clients, estimates, contracts, invoices, the portal, questionnaires, online booking, picture days, school portals, retakes and lab orders, expenses and reports among them. Online payments are still being built, in the open, with founding studios. You use everything free while we build, and your feedback shapes what lands next.
What does "founding pricing for life" mean?
When early access ends, the prices above go live. Studios that joined during early access keep a permanent discount off whichever plan they choose. Exact founding discount is confirmed before we ever charge a card — no surprises, and you can leave anytime.
What do the asterisks mean?
Honesty. Features marked * are on the build schedule but not shipped yet. We'd rather tell you exactly what's live today than sell you a screenshot.
Can I import from 17hats, Airstudio, or spreadsheets?
CSV import for clients is coming with the migration tools milestone. Founding studios get white-glove migration — we move your data with you.
Is my data safe?
Bank-grade encryption in transit and at rest, isolated per-brand data with enforced access controls, and daily backups. Payments will run on Stripe — card numbers never touch our servers. A full security page is coming as we approach launch.
